New school year at SBCCL will start 9/7 Saturday

We hope you all have enjoyed a fantastic summer. The first class of school year 2019-2020 will start on 9/7/19, the next Saturday. Welcome back! 

We would like to draw your attention to the following notices for the school opening. 

1) The student placement information has been sent to parents. If you still haven't received it, please contact us. The assigned teacher of your registered class will send an email to you, which contains a welcome message and classroom information. Please check your email, including your junk mail folder because sometimes the email could be mis-filtered. If it's close to the first day of school and you still haven't received that email, please contact us.

2) At 10:10 am and then 1:10 pm, the CCL Board will hold two Parents meetings in Harriman Hall Room 112 (H112), for morning/afternoon classes, respectively. We will report the state of the school, introduce board members, discuss financial status of the school, and future plans. All parents are invited and welcome. We will also have a short ceremony to award the students who passed the Chinese AP test and HSK test last year.

4) For all B classes students (except K and B1), please bring your summer homework to the school. For those that need to purchase books in B10 and all C classes, please make sure to bring a check with the amount specified in the teacher's email for the book fee. 

5) Please be advised to come earlier on 9/7 because there are many activities on the first day. 

6) The schedule for Parents-on-duty (POD) has been finalized. The latest one can be found in our website: http://www.sbcclny.com/pod. Please find your POD dates and plan accordingly.

7) The link (please check your email) is the Google drive folder that contains the WeChat QR codes for all classes is attached in this email. We will also send it to the school's WeChat group. Please check the folder and join your respective classes' WeChat group. 

8) The first day of Enrichment Classes will be 10/19. The student placement information will be sent one to two weeks before that date.

9) All Books are not refundable or exchangeable if unpacked.
