2020 秋季学期9/12就正式开始上课了。石溪中文学校将在周六（9/5）在石溪大学物理楼前的小停车场（瀑布墙前面的停车场）为秋季注册的学生发放教科书。鉴于COIVD的影响，经与物理系管理员沟通，我们应避免过多的人聚集，因此我们拟将班级分为小组，请学生/家长尽可能按照如下表格所安排的时间段前来领取书本。如家长时间的确与所分配的时间段冲突，才可在其他时间段前来领取。
流程如下：
1. 校委会在停车场设5张桌子，并将教科书按年级分开摆放，桌子上面放有写好年级/科目的标签.
2. 家长按照标签找到对应的桌子，上面会有该年级注册学生的全部名单，请找到自己孩子的名字并签字，然后取书离开。AP班和双语班的家长请取书时准备好书本费。具体数目班级老师会另行通知。
3. 可以帮朋友领书，请遵照同样的规则。
4. 领书必须戴口罩，如排队需保持6 英尺 距离。人多的话请在车里等待，请听从现场工作人员的协调、指挥。
5. 请尽量在周五（9/4）下午六点以前完成注册，以便校委打印准确的班级名单。
6. 现场也会有工作人员解答注册或其它问题。如有任何问题，可以询问现场工作人员。 但请保持社交距离。
7.取书时不需要上交学生暑假作业，请等候另行通知。如果天气原因，取书延后一天到9/6号同一时间。

Stony Brook Chinese School Notice for Textbook Pick up
Dear Stony Brook Chinese School Community:
The first day of Stony Brook Chinese School 2020 Fall semester will start on Saturday, 9/12. This is to kindly inform you that we will distribute textbooks on the coming Saturday (9/5) at the Stony Brook University Physics building parking lot. Due to the COVID impact, we would like to limit the amount of people that show up at any time, therefore we divide the pick-up time into three periods, and ask our parents to come during the allocated time shown in the table below. ONLY if your time conflicts with the allocated period, you’re welcome to come in other periods.
Upon arrival please also follow the following process:
1. Textbooks will be laid on the tables by grade, and there will be labels on each table to indicate grade/course.
2. Parents or students come to the table according to their respective grades/courses. Each table will have a list of student names with their registered classes. Please find your student's name, put your signature next to it, then take the books. Please bring textbook fees for AP classes and Bi-lingual classes. The teachers will email or text each family how much the textbook fee is.
3. Parents and students can pick up textbooks for their friends - please follow the same aforementioned process.
4. Please keep social distance - 6 ft and wear a mask while waiting in line. In the event of a long waiting line, please remain in the car. Staff will be present to direct traffic and maintain order.
5. To help the staff have the most up-to-date class rosters, please finish registration of classes by 6:00pm, Friday, Sep 4th.
6. Staff will be available for any questions about registration, textbook pick up, etc. Please observe social distance guidelines and wear a mask when approaching staff for questions.
7. Please DON NOT turn in summer homework (if any) when you pick up the textbook. You will be informed about the plan separately. In case of inclement weather, the textbook distribution will be postponed one day later on 9/6/2020 same time.
